About the Mathematics Department

The Department of Mathematics offers four degrees: Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Applied Mathematical Sciences (M.A.M.S.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), as well as a Double Dawgs 5-year program which combines the B.S. and M.A. in Mathematics. We, the faculty of the Department of Mathematics, aim to provide an inclusive departmental culture that welcomes and respects all members of the mathematical community. Providing a safe environment and a nurturing atmosphere for our students is a foundational part of our departmental mission in teaching and research. Harassment and discrimination have no place in our department.
